Scientific and practical conference
On May 22, 2023, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “100 Years of the Museum-Reserve in Kolomenskoye. Out of time." Representatives of more than 30 leading museums of Russia are invited to it.
Particular emphasis will be placed on studying the experience of organizing the work of reserve museums, preserving the architectural heritage, forming and studying museum collections.
Within the framework of the conference, a presentation of the two-volume edition "Kolomenskoe-100", prepared specifically for the centenary of the Kolomenskoe Museum, will take place. The employees of the museum-reserve - curators, historians, art critics - prepared essays telling about the history of the place, the collection and the people who worked and still work in Kolomenskoe.
On the same day, agreements on cooperation between the Kolomenskoe Museum-Reserve and other museums will be signed.
